WISCONSIN (CIVIC MEDIA) – Gas prices across the state dropped last week, settling at just under $3 a gallon on average.
A survey conducted by GasBuddy found this week’s average is about seven cents cheaper than last week’s average. On a broader scale, Wisconsin’s current gas prices are 1.5 cents higher a gallon compared to a month ago, but 36.2 cents lower than what the total was a year ago per gallon.
The most expensive Wisconsin gas station charged $3.39 a gallon, while the cheapest station charged $2.61. The national average has dipped 3.8 cents per gallon this week, sitting at an average of $3.09 per gallon.
