Currently, six people are being treated in hospitals, but no casualties have been announced. The suspect is in custody after a shootout with police. 

The next breaking news story revolves around President Trump’s move to end birthright citizenship. After pressure from Trump’s team, the Supreme Court has agreed to bypass the typical court process to hear the case on this potential revocation of rights.

According to great reporting from the Daily Cardinal, Federal Judge William Conley has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from canceling the visa of a UW-Madison student, pending appropriate due process.
